Corportate website redesign to reinvigorate the JLLT brand and attract new talent

JLL Technologies was formed in 2019 as the tech arm of a 100k+ employee corporate real-estate management company. At the time of its formation, a new website was hastily thrown together to raise awareness of JLL’s technology strengths, to market products, and to attract new talent. As JLLT grew and matured over the next several years, its web presence no longer represented how it had evolved. This limited awareness of JLLT’s strengths surfaced as a problem for hiring managers and talent acquisition teams needing to easily convey the industry-leading opportunities that JLL offered.

PROBLEM

When I joined JLL, I identified a significant gap between the company’s web presence and its forward-leaning technology mission.

STRATEGY

Recognizing the importance of a brand’s web presence, I championed a full re-architecture of the site. I led teams to drive design consistency into the existing site structure by leveraging my emerging JLL Design System. I partnered with JLLT Product Managers and Marketing teams to ensure the site included key product information and effectively spoke to the ideal customer. I also partnered with the JLLT recruiting teams to ensure that career opportunities were effectively highlighted, driving top talent into the JLLT hiring pipeline.

SOLUTION

The site update provided a much needed refresh of the JLLT brand web presence, a more usable site for customers seeking information about our products, drove acquisition of new clients and helped us to attract top talent.
